MS Outlook is widely used to manage and organize emails and its associated components like notes, tasks, contacts, attachments, etc. There are many other email clients available to send/receive mails in the same as way. Spicebird is yet another email client used for e-mail, calendaring, and instant messaging. With this, you can easily connect to various servers and protocols including Gtalk, Yahoo, AIM etc.
However, the support for the Spicebird has been discontinued. But, there are instances when a person using MS Outlook might want to access his/her emails on Spicebird. In order to successfully access Outlook mails in same format, it is recommended to import PST to Spicebird using a professional tool.

Following are the steps to convert PST to MBOX, using Stellar Converter for PST.
Step 1: Select the PST File to be Converted
Open the software 'Stellar Converter for PST'.
The software shows the main interface along with 'Select Outlook Profile & MBOX Client dialog' box.
The dialog box displays a list of configured profile. You can choose any default profile from the list or choose any other profile by navigating to the specific drive, folder, or volume using 'Find PST File' option as shown below.
Select Spicebird as a MBOX client.
To start scanning the selected PST file, click 'OK'.
Note: If the PST file is a password-protected file, specify the password in the 'Enter Outlook PST Password' dialog box and click 'OK' as shown below.
Step 2: Previewing Mailbox Items in Main Interface
After scanning, the software displays a tree-like structure with all mailbox items.
Click on any folder, to display all the mails in the folder in the main interface.
In order to preview any mail item, click the particular mail item.
Step 3: Converting and Saving Mailbox Items
Click the 'Convert to MBOX' button on the toolbar, to start the conversion process.
Stellar Outlook PST to MBOX Converter dialog box appears up.
Save the converted mails by providing any desired destination path and click 'OK' as shown below.
Note: You can always navigate to the specified location to check the converted MBOX file.
Once checked, you can import the MBOX file to the Spicebird client to access emails. There are different ways of importing an MBOX file in Spicebird depending on different Windows platform.
For Windows XP
You need to copy the converted file to the following directory path:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Spicebird\Profiles
For Windows Vista
You need to copy the converted file to the following directory path:
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Spicebird\Profiles\
For Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10
You need to copy the converted file to the following directory path:
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Spicebird\Profiles
Once the file is copied, you need to launch the Spicebird and select the 'Mail, News' tab at the top. You can see the converted mails in the left pane under 'Local Folders' of the newly opened window.
