Stellar Migrator for Exchange
In this step, use the Map Mailboxes to automatically map mailboxes by comparing email addresses between the source and target servers. If automatic matching isn't possible, you can manually map the mailboxes to ensure correct mapping. This simplifies the migration by ensuring the correct source mailbox is mapped to the target mailbox.
The Match Mailboxes tab is organized into three sections:
Search Bar: For quickly locating specific mailboxes.
Mailboxes List: It displays the details of mailboxes, including information such as priority, source mailbox, source type, target mailbox, target type, and an option to edit, as given below.
Priority: Set the priority level for each mailbox to determine the order in which they are processed during migration. To get more Information, click here.
Source Mailbox: Lists the mailboxes in the source environment.
Type: Specifies the type of source mailbox (e.g., primary mailbox, archive mailbox).
Target Mailbox: Shows the corresponding mailboxes in the target environment.
Type: Indicates the type of target mailbox (e.g, primary mailbox, archive mailbox)
Edit: Allows you to make adjustments or edits to mailbox details.
Summary Section: Track the progress of the matching process, including details such as the total number of mailboxes, mapped mailboxes, and unmapped mailboxes. To view mapped mailboxes summary, click the Info button in the bottom-right corner of the Map mailboxes window.
