Yes, you can view the scan result as per file type using Mac Data Recovery application. After scanning, to view the list as per file type, you can choose the File List preview option.
The File List preview option lists the files/folders according to their type such as Document, Audio, Video, Archive, and so on. To see the File List preview option, click File List tab in the preview window.
