Steps to Recover Data from HFS Formatted Mac Hard Drive Using a PC

Step 2) Connect your Mac HFS drive to the PC by using a SATA/IDE cable. If you have an external HFS drive, then connect it with its USB cable.
Step 3) Double-click the software icon to launch it. On the main interface, select Recover Data.
Step 4) Choose the type of data that you want to recover then click Next.
Step 5) Select your Mac HFS Drive and toggle on Deep Scan. Then click Scan to scan for lost, deleted, or formatted Mac data. Extensive Scan of the Mac HFS formatted drive begins.

Step 8) Once you are done with preview, select the checkboxes corresponding to the required files for recovery. Click Recover. Specify a distinct drive destination to save the recoverable files, then click Save.
