To recover only JPG files using Stellar Photo Recovery and reduce scanning time, perform selective scanning by configuring the software to search specifically for that file type. Here’s the step-by-step guide for the same:
Step 1: Open Stellar Photo Recovery and select the drive/location from where you want to recover JPG files
Step 2: Click on the hamburger icon at the top and click the Settings option.
Step 3: Go to File List, then under Photo formats, scroll down, tick the checkbox against JPEG Images, and uncheck all other formats. Click Close.
Step 4: Next, click the Scan button on the Home screen to initiate the scanning.
Step 5: Once the scanning completes, you will see the list of recoverable files. To preview JPG recoverable photo files, navigate to File Type in the left pane, click the Photo option, and choose JPEG.
Step 6: Select the JPG image you want to restore, click Restore and save the files at any desired location.
