Offline EDB
  • Step 1

    Select Offline OST File

    Launch Stellar Converter for OST. Click Select Outlook OST in the Home tab in the top ribbon. A pop-up screen will appear to List Profiles or Choose Manually.

  • Step 2

    List Outlook Profile or Choose Manually to Convert

    The List Profile option displays all the OST files stored at the default location under the Profile List tab. You can select the OST file from the list and click Convert. You may also click Choose Manually to browse manually.

  • Step 3

    After conversion take a Preview

    After the conversion is completed, the software previews the Outlook mailbox folders and deleted items (red color) in the Left pane. You can click on mail items to see their preview and select mail items for saving.

  • Step 4

    Use Find to Search Email Option

    Use the Find Message option to search emails using various search parameters, such as To, From, Subject, Date, etc., and save them individually or in a group.

  • Step 5

    Click on ‘Save Converted File’ Option

    Click Save Converted File under the Home tab. A pop-up screen will appear with file formats to save the extracted mailbox data. Select PST and click Next.

  • Step 6

    Browse to Save Converted File

    Click Browse to choose a save location and then select or unselect Restore Deleted items and Auto split PST file options based on your needs. You can also click Apply Advanced Filter link to apply filters and then click OK.

  • Step 7

    Apply Advance Filter Option

    Clicking Apply Advanced Filter opens a new dialog box where you can choose options to include or exclude mail items based on email ID & date range.

Hosted Exchange
  • Step 1

    Select Hosted Exchange and Enter login details

    Select Hosted Exchange to export mailboxes from an online EDB file. Select Connect to Single Mailbox or Connect to Single Mailbox from Connection Options

  • Step 2

    Enter Admin Email and Server Name

    Enter Admin and Server Name (for Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003, 2007) or tick "Exchange Server 2010 and higher" checkbox to enter Admin Email, Server Name and Password (for MS Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019). Click OK.

  • Step 3

    Check Connected/Disconnected Mailbox Status

    After establishing the connection with Exchange Server, Next window displays list of connected and disconnected mailboxes. Click "OK" to proceed.

  • Step 4

    Check the Preview of all Mailboxes

    Check the preview of all mailbox items- Emails, Calendars, Contacts etc.

  • Step 5

    Select “Save as PST”

    Click Save from Home Ribbon and Select Save as PST option. Click "Next" to proceed.
