4.3.4. Intra-Organizational Traffic Reports

Intra-Organizational Traffic Reports provide information to track emails and traffic flow within the organization. These reports provide details about the mails exchanged between two users, number and size of mails sent and received by users in the organization overall traffic details between two users in the organization.

Various reports included under this category are:

1. Mails Exchanged Between Users

This report lists all the mails exchanged between users in an exchange organization. The report lists the sender and recipient name, number of messages and size of messages (MB) for a selected time period.

To view Mails Exchanged Between Users report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on Mails Exchanged Between Users.
Under Filter, in the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options and click Go.
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

2. Number of Mails Sent by a Specific User

This report provides details related to number of mails sent by an individual user on the exchange server for a selected time period. The details include senders email id, recipients display name, number of messages received and message size (MB).

To view Number of Mails Sent by a Specific User report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on Number of Mails Sent by a Specific User.
Under Filter,
- In the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options.
- In User field, select the user & click Go
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list

3. Size of Mails Sent by a Specific User

This report provides details related to size of mails sent by an individual user on the exchange server for a selected time period. The details include senders email id, recipients display name, number of messages received and message size (MB).

To view Size of Mails Sent by a Specific User report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on Size of Mails Sent by a Specific User.
Under Filter,
- In the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options.
- In User field, select the user & click Go
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list

4. Number of Mails Received by a Specific User

This report provides details related to number of mails received by an individual user on the exchange server for a selected time period. The details include senders email id, recipients display name, number of messages received and message size (MB).

5. Size of Mails Received by a Specific User

This report provides details related to size of mails received by an individual user on the exchange server for a selected time period. The details include senders email id, recipients display name, number of messages received and message size (MB).

To view Size of Mails Received by a Specific User report:

Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on Size of Mails Received by a Specific User.
Under Filter,

6. Traffic Between two Users

This report provides the traffic details between two specific users in the exchange organization for a selected time period. The traffic details include date of exchange, sender email id, recipients name, message subject, message size and message id.

To view Traffic Between two Users report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on Size of Mails Received by a Specific User.
Under Filter,
- In the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options.
- In User field, select the user & click Go
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list

7. Sent Traffic by Domains

This report provide the sent traffic details of an internal domain in an exchange organization for a selected time period. The reports includes details like domain name, number and size of messages (MB) sent. The report also shows the top 10 domains based on the number of messages sent by every domain.

To view Sent Traffic by Domains report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on More -> Sent Traffic by Domains.
Under Filter, in the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options and click Go.
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.

8. Received Traffic by Domains

This report provide the received traffic details of an internal domain in an exchange organization for a selected time period. The reports includes details like domain name, number and size of messages (MB) received. The report also shows the top 10 domains based on the number of messages received by every domain.

To view Received Traffic by Domains report:

From the Navigation Pane, click on Report -> Email Traffic.
Under Intra-Organizational Traffic, click on More -> Received Traffic by Domains.
Under Filter, in the Period field, select the time period from the drop down options and click Go.
If you wish to change the Server, click on Select Server and choose the server name from the drop down list.
