4.4. Use the Command Terminal

This feature streamlines remote system management, enabling tasks such as configuration changes and troubleshooting to be performed efficiently. By providing direct access to the remote system's command line, users can oversee operations seamlessly from their local environment.

Why is it used

The command terminal feature of Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging provides direct access to the terminal of a remote system from the user's local system. This function serves as a powerful tool for executing commands that directly impact the remote system's operations. The command terminal enables users to perform various tasks remotely, such as system configurations, software installations, file management, and troubleshooting.

Follow the steps to use the Command Terminal:

1. Launch Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging on your local system.

2. Establish a connection between your local system and the desired remote system.

3. Once connected, navigate to the side panel and select "Terminal View" to access the command terminal interface.

4. On the main screen, locate and click the  located at the bottom right corner.

5. The command terminal interface will now be visible on the screen, allowing you to enter commands directly.

6. Enter any desired command on the terminal, and it will be executed directly on the remote system.
