4.3. Transfer Files

With Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging users can view the files and folders of the remote system on the local system. Additionally, those files can be transferred from the remote to the local system. 

Follow the steps to view and transfer the Files

1. Launch Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging on your local system.

2. Establish a secure connection between your local system and the target remote system.

3. On the home screen, navigate to the side panel and click "File Transfer."

4. A window will appear displaying files from the remote system on one side in a tree view, and files from your local system on the other side.

5. Clickto view the tree view of the files and folders in each drive on the remote system.

6. Similarly, Clickto view the tree view of the files and folders in each drive on your local computer to choose a destination location for the file.

7. Once you have made your selections, click . A progress bar will appear, indicating the status of the transfer.

8. After the file is successfully transferred, a "Transfer Complete" prompt will appear. Click  to exit the process and return to the main user interface.

9. Navigate to the location on your local system where you transferred the file. Verify that the file has been transferred correctly and is accessible.

10. If needed, you can repeat these steps to transfer additional files or folders as required.
