Scan Disk module of Stellar Drive Monitorprovides you with the three options to scan your disk as mentioned below:
Scan Disk: It scans the hard disk for bad sectors. This process will report all the bad sectors in the disk that are identified in the scanning process.
Short Self-test: It quickly checks the electrical and mechanical performance along with the read/write operations on a portion of the disk.
Extended Self-test: It deeply checks the electrical and mechanical performance along with the read/write operations on the entire disk surface.
