Hi Eric,
After a mistaken hard disk compression and losing access to my Outlook, I was finally able to download the .PST file from Microsoft 365 website. But each time I attempt opening the file with the reinstalled Outlook, I get an error message that reads: “File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to access the file….”
Meanwhile, I have forgotten how I downloaded the Outlook files in the first place from Microsoft website.

Can you help? Thanks

Eric, HELP ME!!

I have an external hard drive that has my outlook on it. All my old emails & contacts.

Now I want to import export the data from the external hard drive to my new computer with the same Outlook on it. Maybe a different year. IT IS telling me I don’t have permission to access the files on the hard drive!

MY IT guy says he doesn’t know about Outlook! Can you help?
