Stellar DBF Recovery is an efficient tool to repair corrupt DBF files created in dBASE (III, IV, V), and Visual FoxPro (6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0) files. However, you require a database to save your recovered data. This selected database can be a new blank database or an existing one. Mentioned below are the steps to perform the recovery:

Steps to Recover Corrupt DBF Files of dBASE:

On the main user interface of the software, choose the version of dBASE you are using in the 'Select Database Application' drop-down box.


       
Further, click 'Browse' to locate and select your .DBF file. This selected DBF file should be of corresponding dBASE application that you have selected in 'Select Database Application' drop-down.

Click 'Start Scan', and you will get the below interface showing the ongoing scanning process with the result of the scan in the middle pane of the interface.


        
After completion of the scanning process, click 'Repair' to repair these scanned files.

A dialog box appears on your screen. Browse for the location to select the destination path after clicking 'Browse', where you want to save your repaired DBF file, and then click 'OK'.



Upon completion of repair process, the summary of entire task is shown in the middle pane. Click 'Finish'.


         
Steps to Recover Corrupt DBF Files of MS Visual FoxPro:

Select desired version of Visual FoxPro on the first screen of 'Stellar DBF Recovery' software.

Click 'Browse' button to locate the .DBF file of the corresponding version of Visual FoxPro that you have selected in the previous step. Click 'Open' to select this DBF file.

Click 'Start Scan' to start the scanning of selected DBF file. The preview of the scanned files is displayed during the process as well as upon completion of the scanning.

Click 'Repair' and select the destination for saving your repaired DBF file. Click 'OK'.

Further, you have to select the database where you want to store all your recovered data.

Summary of the entire process is shown in the middle pane after completion of the repair. Click 'Finish' to complete the process.
