Stellar Data Recovery software shows preview of documents, photos, videos, text files etc., after scan. However, if no preview is available after scan or the software displays ‘No Preview Available’ message, this could be due to the following reasons:
- File is corrupt. You can try repairing the file by using Stellar Data Recovery Premium.
- File size is too big to preview.
- File is password-protected.
- Drive is corrupt due to which the software cannot read the data.
- You are trying to preview unsupported file types such as compressed folders, application files, or custom files.
A corrupt file, which doesn’t show preview is not recoverable. However, files that are too large, or password-protected are recoverable, even if there is no preview available.
