Stellar Repair for Photo shows the JPEG error -‘Important marker missing’ in case of damaged or lost file header information.
This usually occurs when the file extension of the photo is incorrect. Your image file may show .JPEG as the extension, but somehow the internal header information got changed or damaged. Its binary data is either missing or invalid.
The software cannot repair such corrupt JPEG files that have missing information or data.
However, you can try to fix the JPEG error by changing the file extension. Simply rename your photo with .JPG extension.
If this doesn’t resolve the error, edit the header information using any Hex editor tool, such as HxD, HexEd, etc. But you should have complete knowledge of binary data to operate a Hex Editor program.
