In case the saved folder after data recovery or repair shows no files, first check the size of the folder created by the application.
Situation 1: If saved folder has a size
If the folder saved by the software has a size, then the files may be hidden in your Mac or Windows system. You need to unhide the files.
Steps to unhide the files in Windows 10:
- Open File Explorer. Navigate to the required folder.
- On top menu, select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
- Select the View tab.
- In Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
- Click OK.
OR you can directly unhide files from View in menu bar:
- Open File Explorer. Open the required folder.
- On top menu, select View > Go to section Show/hide > check hidden items box.
Steps to show or hide files on Mac:
- Open the required folder in which you want to display the hidden files.
- Hold down the cmd + shift + [.] keys.
- All the hidden files will then appear partially transparent.
Situation 2: If saved folder is of 0 bytes
If the folder size is 0 bytes, it means the software has not created the recovered/ repaired files on the computer. In this situation, contact Stellar Technical Support. They will analyze the problem over a remote access and share the solution.
