When you are trying to save MS SQL Database in Live or New Database with the help of Stellar Repair for MS SQL Software, you might face a “Connection Error”. This error is caused due to either of the following reasons:
- Stellar Repair for MS SQL software and the server where the database is deployed are installed on two different machines. If the >SQL Database repair software is installed on Machine X and you are trying to save the Database by using the New Database option on a server; then the server should also be connected to Machine X. In case, this SQL server is installed on Machine Y then there is no connection, and the database cannot be saved and you will face the Connection Error.
- Similarly, when Stellar Repair for MS SQL software and the server where the database is to be saved are installed on two different Networks, the Network connection is not established, and hence SQL Database is not saved in Live or New Database.
Connection error can be corrected.
To resolve the Connection Error while trying to save the SQL Database, check for the following:
- The corrupt MDF file, SQL server and Stellar SQL Repair software should be on the same network.
- The corrupt MDF file, SQL server and SQL Repair software should be on the same machine.
Start the repair and save process of SQL Database, only after establishing a proper Network and Machine connectivity.
