4.1. Select Word Files

You can select single or multiple word files in the Stellar Repair for Word. In addition, you can specify a folder or a volume as a folder such that all word files can be added from that folder. 

Note: Before running Stellar Repair for Word software make sure that the Microsoft Word application is closed.

To select the files:

1. Click Select button from Home ribbon.

2. Select File dialog box is displayed, click Browse.

3. In the Open dialog box, locate and select the corrupt Word files (.doc, .docx) and then click Open. 

4. Selected files are listed and displayed in Select File window with details (File Path, Size, Created, Accessed and Modified).

Note: If you do not want to repair any listed file, uncheck the checkbox. 

Note: Click Clear List if you want to clear the list of selected files.

5. Click Repair button to start the repairing process.

Note: Click Stop if you want to stop the scanning process. 

6. After the process is completed, the contents of the scanned files gets displayed on the right pane of the screen.
