4.2. Search Word Files

Select Find option if you are unaware of the file location which you want to repair. Stellar Repair for Word provides you an easy option to search for desired Microsoft Word file. 

Note: Before running Stellar Repair for Word software make sure that the Microsoft Word application is closed.

  

To search files from drive / folder:

1. Click Select button from Home ribbon.

2. Select File dialog box is displayed, click Find.

3. Browse for Folder dialog box appears, select the drive or folder to search for the corrupt Word files (.doc, .docx) an then click OK. 

4. All the files found in the selected drive are listed and displayed in the Select File window with details (File Path, Size, Created, Accessed and Modified).

Note: If you do not want to repair any listed file, uncheck the checkbox.

Note: Click Clear List if you want to clear the list of selected files.

5. Click Repair button to start the repairing process. 

Note: Click Stop if you want to stop the scanning process. 

6. After the process is completed, the contents of the scanned files are displayed in the right pane of the screen.
