3.6. Updating the Software

Stellar Repair for Outlook receives periodic software updates. Use the update option to check for both minor and major versions available online. The update wizard allows you to download these versions easily. For a smooth update process, close all running programs.

To check automatically:

1. Run Stellar Repair for Outlook. The Update Wizard window will appear alongside the main user interface.

2. Click Next . The software will start downloading updated files from the server. Once the process is complete, the software will update to the latest version.

3. Click Finish.

To check manually:

1. Run Stellar Repair for Outlook software.

2. Select Update Wizard from the Tools Ribbon.

3. Update Wizard window pops up.

4. The wizard starts searching for the latest updates and if it finds any new version, a window pops up indicating the availability of an update.

5. Click Next and the software starts downloading updated files from the server. When the process completes, the software updates to the latest version.

6. Click Finish.

Note: Uncheck the checkbox 'Check updates at startup' to disable automatic updates when you launch the Stellar Repair for Outlook application.

 

Live Updates may not happen due to the following reasons:

• Internet connection failure.

• Unable to download configuration files.

• Unable to locate updated files or versions.

• Unable to locate the executable file.
