4.1. Select and Repair OLM Files

Stellar Repair for OLM allows you to select and repair OLM files, fixing any corruption or issues within the mail data.

To select OLM file to be repaired, follow the steps given below:

• Launch Stellar Repair for OLM. Select OLM File dialog box opens as shown below:

Note: Open the Select OLM File dialog box by clicking the Open icon on the toolbar or selecting Open File from the File menu.

• Click 'Browse' button to locate corrupted OLM file that needs repair. Open dialog box is displayed.

• Select OLM file to be repaired. Click Open button.

• The selected file path is displayed in Select OLM File dialog box.

 

To find OLM file, follow the steps given below:

• Launch Stellar Repair for OLM. Select OLM File dialog box opens.

• Click Find OLM button. Find OLM dialog box is displayed.

• Click Select to select the location and then click Find to locate the OLM mailboxes.

Note: Click Stop to abort the process of locating the mailboxes at any time.

• A list of OLM files found is displayed as shown below:

• Select the desired OLM file from the list.

• Click Next to to scan or Cancel to exit.

 

To repair OLM file

• Click Scan Now button to start repairing process. A process progress box is displayed showing the repairing progress.

Note: In case, you want to abort the scanning process at any time, click Stop.

• A summary message box showing the repaired details is displayed after repairing process is completed.

• Click Close button to close the summary message box.

• Click Save Log to save the log report.
