Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging
During the installation and utilisation of the software, it is recommended that users temporarily disable their system's firewall. This precautionary measure is crucial to ensure an uninterrupted installation and operation process. By disabling the firewall, potential conflicts or restrictions that may arise during the installation or usage of Stellar Remote Forensic Imaging can be avoided.
Click Start at the bottom-left of your screen to open the Start menu.
From the Start menu, select Settings.
In the Settings window, locate and click Update & Security.
In the displayed menu, navigate to the left and click Windows Security.
Under Windows Security, click Open Windows Security to access the Windows Security dashboard.
Once in Windows Security, click Firewall & Network Protection to manage firewall settings.
In the Firewall & Network Protection menu, locate and select your active network connection.
After selecting your active network, you will see additional options related to firewall settings for that network. Click on the Windows Defender Firewall button to toggle the firewall off.
Note: If you are using any external endpoint security software, open the software and disable the firewall protection.
