Stellar Migrator for Exchange
Once you've reviewed and confirmed that all settings are correct, you can start the migration.
Review Configurations: Review all migration settings to make sure everything is set up correctly, including mailboxes, filters, and other options.
Ensure Correct Selections
Before proceeding, confirm the following:
You have accurately selected all relevant mailboxes, including primary, archive, and public folders.
Ensure the source and target configurations are correct.
Apply filters (e.g., time, folder type, etc.) properly.
Ensure the total number of mailboxes to migrate matches your expectations and exclude any unwanted data.
Click the Start Button: Once all configurations are reviewed and correct, click the Start button in the JOB ribbon to begin the migration process.
Monitor the Migration
After clicking Start, the software will:
Start Data Transfer: The migration begins based on your specifications. The duration may vary depending on the size and complexity of the data being transferred.
Monitor Progress: You can track the migration in real time, viewing progress, warnings, errors, and overall job health.
Once the migration starts, the process will run automatically according to your settings. No further input is required unless an issue arises.
After completing the migration, the action field in the job progress section of the right panel will change from Migrate to Don't Migrate. If the job fails to migrate, it will remain in the Migrate state, allowing you to attempt the migration again without making repeated changes.
Note: Only one migration job can run at a time. All other jobs will be queued in the order they appear on the list.
Note: If you need to pause or stop the migration at any time, you can do so from the Pause button in the JOB ribbon, but it’s advisable to allow the migration to complete to avoid any interruptions in the process.
