4. Dashboard

When you log in to the Stellar Licensing Manager, the first screen you will see is the Dashboard.

Dashboard divides into two panes with the left pane showing the navigation menu and the right pane displaying information in a table format.

Dashboard screen will appear with three distinct tables:

1. My Licenses

2. Shared Pool Licenses

3. Users Licenses

Each table displays information related to licenses and helps track and manage them effectively.

1. My Licenses

My Licenses table gives an overview of the licenses associated with a specific account. 

My Licenses table lets users view allocated resources, while admins can manage and redistribute licenses. It displays key details like product code and description for easy license identification.

• Product Code: Displays a unique code for each product or license.

• Product Description: Provides a brief description of the product or license.

• Total Quantity: Displays the total number of licenses available for that product.

• Available Quantity: Displays how many licenses are available for use.

• Consumed Quantity: Displays how many licenses users consume for migrations.

• Allocated Quantity: Displays the number of licenses assigned to users or tasks.

• In Transit Quantity: Displays how many licenses are in the process of transfer.

 

2. Shared Pool Licenses

Shared Pool Licenses table provides an overview of licenses in shared pools. Shared pools are collections of licenses that can be dynamically allocated to users or groups within the pool. 

It helps track the licenses within each pool, showing how many are available, consumed, allocated, and in transit, with each pool identified by its name and product type.

• Pool Name: Identifies the license pool by its name.

• Product Code: Displays the unique code for the product whose licenses are in the pool.

• Product Name: Displays name of the product related to the pool.

• Total Quantity: Displays the total number of licenses in the pool.

• Available Quantity: Displays how many licenses are available for allocation.

• Consumed Quantity: Displays how many licenses a pool has consumed.

• Allocated Quantity: Displays how many licenses are assigned to pool.

• In Transit Quantity: Displays the number of licenses transferring between pools.

Note: Admins can allocate licenses from the shared pool to individual user or pool. This table is useful for Admins who need to monitor license allocation across multiple users or pools and manage resources within the shared pool.

 

3. Users Licenses

User Licenses table allows user to see the licensing details of users.

Users Licenses table displays details such as product code, description, and the status of available, consumed, allocated, and in-transit licenses. It shows how many licenses user has and tracks their usage status.

• User Email: Links to the child account and helps identify license assignments.

• Pool Name: Identifies the license pool assigned to the child account.

• Product Code: Displays the unique code for the product.

• Product Description: Provides a brief description of the product.

• Total Quantity: Displays the total number of licenses for the product in the child account.

• Available Quantity: Displays how many licenses are available for allocation.

• Consumed Quantity: Displays how many licenses the child account has used.

• Allocated Quantity: Displays how many licenses are assigned, whether in use or not.

• In Transit Quantity: Displays how many licenses move or reassign between child accounts.
