Stellar Licensing Manager
Stellar Licensing Manager
Child Accounts are sub-accounts that help manage licenses, resources, and permissions for specific users or groups. They allow admins to allocate and track resources efficiently, while the parent account retains full control.
Creating Child Accounts lets admin manage and assign licenses, or settings more specifically. The parent account usually controls multiple child accounts, and the Child Accounts menu provides easy access to these features:
License Allocation: Child accounts can be assigned individual licenses, ensuring that different groups or users have the right resources.
Access Control: Administrators can control the permissions for each child account, giving them specific access to features or data while maintaining overall control from the parent account.
Usage Monitoring: The child account menu helps track the usage, allocation, and consumption of resources or licenses at the child account level, which is crucial for managing a large user base or different teams effectively.
To view Child Account information, click the Child Accounts menu in the left pane, and the details will appear in a table format in the right pane.
Name: Displays the name of the child account or user.
Email: Shows the email address associated with the child account.
Status: Indicates the current status of the child account (e.g., Active, Deactivate).
Pool: Refers to the pool assigned to the child account. This may indicate how many resources, like data or mailboxes, the account is allowed to migrate.
Created At: Shows the child account creation date and time, helping administrators track account setup.
Actions: Provides a set of actions that administrators can perform on the selected child account.
The options in the "Action" column are provided to allow administrators to easily manage each child account's licenses and user settings directly. This makes it quicker to allocate or revoke licenses and edit user details, all from one place. It streamlines account management by giving admins the ability to make adjustments as needed, ensuring licenses and resources are properly assigned and access is managed efficiently.
