The Stellar Update keeps your Stellar software updated. Update option in the software is capable of checking the latest updates. This will check for both latest minor and major version available online. You can easily download updated version through the update wizard. While updating the software, it’s recommended to close all the running programs.
To update the application, follow the steps given below:
1. Click on the Update button from the menu bar. The Update Wizard is displayed.
2. Click Next. A busy timer indicates the searching for updates. If it finds any new version, a message indicates the availability.
3. If a message displays that no updates are available, click Cancel to close the wizard.
4. Click Next. The software starts downloading the updated files from the server. The software upgrades to the latest version, when the process completes.
Live Update may not happen due to following reasons:
Internet connection failure.
Updates are not available.
Unable to download configuration files.
Unable to locate updated files or version.
Note: If a major version is available, you need to purchase the software in order to upgrade it.
