Stellar Data Recovery
Stellar Data Recovery
Sometimes you can't recover your data by using the quick scan and deep scan options. It happens because of severe corruption or partition damage in the physical/removable disk. In this scenario, Stellar Data Recovery allows you to recover your data by using the Physical Disks option. This option supports both internal and external hard drives. Physical Disks feature works with Raw Recovery to retrieve the highly corrupted data and has better chances of recovery.
1. Run Stellar Data Recovery.
2. From What To Recover screen, select the type of data i.e. All Data or Office Documents, Emails, Audio, Photos and Videos, you want to recover.
3. Click Next.
4. From Recover From screen, select the disk you want to recover from Physical Disks.
5. The Confirm Physical Disk Scan dialog box appears showing message" In this case, the selected physical disk will be scanned for file signatures. The scan results will show file names as a combination of alphanumeric characters instead of their original names. This option is useful when no other recovery method is successful. It is highly recommended to scan "connected drives" before scanning a physical disk."
6. Click Proceed to start the scanning process.
Note: You can click the Stop, Pause, or Resume buttons to control the scanning process at any point.
Note: To view the scanning details, click on the Click here link next to the Scanning details at the bottom of the screen.
Note: You can also perform a deep scan after a quick scan by clicking the 'Click here' link next to the Deep scan at the bottom of the screen.
7. Once the scanning process is completed, details of the files and folders found are displayed in a dialog box as shown below:
