4.13.2. Raw File Formats
File types give information about the type of file such as video, audio and their extensions. You can select the file types while performing signature search such that, the scanning process should search only for the specified file types under the Deep Scan. Various file types are listed in the file list option of Stellar Data Recovery. You can select the required file types for their recovery.
Steps to Select a File Type:

Run Stellar Data Recovery software.

From the toolbar, select
icon and then select the required file format. -
A list of all the supported file formats is shown below:
- Select the file types you want to recover.
Note: For faster scanning and better recovery results, select the required file types only. If required, you may edit the size of a file type. (Not applicable, if exact size is being recovered)
