4.14.2.1. Perform Cleanup

It contains all the unnecessary system junk files such as the log files, trashes, LeftOver files, Extension Files, etc. Removing these files boosts system’s performance and frees up storage space which further enables the user to download and install any application seamlessly.

Follow the steps to use Cleanup Feature

1. To begin, click View Details under the Cleanup checkbox. Deselect the Cleanup checkbox if you don’t want to remove system files.

2. Cleanup screen appears. All the system junk files are listed in a box along with their Size, Count and Access Date.

3. View all the listed files and deselect any important file which you don’t want to delete.

4. Click  Clean at the bottom of the screen to start the cleaning process.

5. Confirmation dialog box appears. Click Remove to confirm to remove selected files.

6. Remove Files progress dialog box appears depicting the removal of selected files. If you want to stop the removal process, click Stop.

7. Once the files are removed, Removal Complete dialog box appears on the screen to confirm the selected files have been successfully removed. Click Ok.

8. Click  Back button located at the top left of the screen to close the current screen.
