4.5. How to Apply Advance Filter

Stellar Converter for NSF provides an advanced filtering feature to find specific and particular mailboxes using Date Range filter. Apply Filter option in the save dialog box enables the user to make the converted results more precise. You can choose to split the oversized mailboxes automatically while saving the converted mailbox. It also allows you to narrow down your search results by excluding specific sender IDs from all the converted mailboxes. Choose "Apply Advanced Filter" if you want to filter the mail files before saving. 

Steps to apply advanced filter:

1. Click on Apply Advanced Filter from the choose destination window. 

2. Save Filter dialog box opens. 

3. You can choose to auto split your converted mailbox while saving it as a PST file by selecting Auto split PST file option. This feature automatically splits the oversized mailbox. It ensures that the converted mailbox works smoothly with MS Outlook. The size at which the mailbox is split depends on the version of MS Outlook installed on the computer. For example, the latest version of MS Outlook works fine with PSTs upto the size of 50 GB. Therefore Stellar Converter for NSF splits the output PST at approximately 45 GB in size.

Note: Auto split PST file check box is selected by default, uncheck it if you do not want to split the converted PST file.

4. Date Range filter allows users to specify a starting and an ending date from which they want to convert the mails. From Date Range section select the specific Start Date and End Date to find the specific mailboxes. 

         

5. Exclude Mails from Mailboxes filter allows the user to exclude the mails from a list of specified senders. To exclude the mails, enter the complete E-mail Addresses of the sender and click on Add to List. The mentioned E-mail Addresses will be listed in the E-mail addresses list box. Click OK.

• In Add to List text field enter specific sender ID's that you don't want to include.

Note: You can include only one sender ID at a time in Add to List text field.

• Then click Add to List button to list it.

6. Click OK button to apply the filters.
