  1. What does the demo version of the software do?

Using the demo version of the software, you can preview the converted file. However, to access complete features, you will need to purchase and activate the software.

  1. How can I convert  Mails, Contacts, and Journals saved in different NSF files into a single PST file? 

Stellar Converter for NSF allows you to select up to 4 NSF files and save them to a single PST file after conversion. This is useful if you have Mails, Contacts, and Journals saved in different NSF files.

  1. Is it necessary to have 'HCL Notes' and 'Microsoft Outlook' installed on the computer for conversion of NSF file into PST?

Yes, to successfully convert an NSF mailbox to an MS Outlook mailbox (PST), you need to install both HCL Notes and MS Outlook on the computer where you want to perform the conversion.

  1. If the location of NSF files is not known, can I find them using 'Stellar Converter for NSF'?

Yes, using Find option of the software, you can search for NSF Files in a specific drive of the computer. To know more, please refer to Select and Convert NSF File topic of this help manual.

  1. How can I save converted NSF files as MSG and EML files?

To save converted NSF files as MSG / EML / RTF / HTML or PDF format follow these steps:

  • Click 'Save Converted File' button on the File Menu.

  • 'Save As' dialog box opens. Select either MSG or EML or RTF or PDF or HTML radio button.

  •  Click 'Browse' to go to the folder where you want to save the converted mails and click 'OK'.

  1. Can I modify search results?

Yes, Stellar Converter for NSF provides 2 filter options:

  1. Date Range: You can choose a starting and an ending date from which you wish to convert the emails using this filter.

  2. Exclude Mails from Mailboxes: This filter allows the user to exclude the mails from a list of specified senders. To exclude the mails, enter the complete E-mail Addresses of the sender and click on Add to List. The mentioned E-mail Addresses will be listed in the E-mail addresses list box. Click OK.
