Google Takeout allows you to export and download your data from the Google products such as email, calendar, photos, documents, and other activities. Before you begin to convert Google Takeout data by using Stellar Converter for MBOX software, you need to archive and download your Google data. Refer to the following steps to archive and download your Google data.
Steps to download Google products/data:
Go to Google Takeout page and enter your Google account credentials. Google Takeout page opens.
By default all google products are selected, click Deselect all.
Click on the checkbox next to the product names to choose the preferred data you want to export.
After selecting the product/data you want to export, click on the Next step button.
Choose file type, frequency and destination page enables, set the following parameters to archive your Google data:
Delivery method: From the drop-down list, you can choose any destination; Send downloading link to email, Add to Drive, Add to Box, Add to Dropbox, and Add to OneDrive to archive your data.
Note: Its recommended to select Send downloading link to email option.
Frequency: Choose frequency to export your data (Export once or Export every 2 months for 1 year).
File type & size: Choose file type (.zip or .tgz) and file size (1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 10GB, or 50GB).
Note: The export will be split into multiple files, if it is larger than the selected file size.
After choosing all the parameters, click Create export.
Export progress screen appears with message "Google is creating a copy of files".
After export progress is completed, an email will be sent to your email.
Open your Gmail account and click on Download your fileslink.
After downloading the files, open the file location and extract the files. The extracted files are saved in Takeout folder at the desired location.
