4.2. Erase Complete Device

Stellar Android Eraser allows you to clean your device completely with ease. You can erase all the data on your device with a few clicks.

Take the following steps to erase the device:

1. Run Stellar Android Eraser.

2. A screen appears with two options for erasing data: Selective Data and Complete Device. Click Complete Device button.

3. You need to allow the application to access your contacts, phone logs, media, etc. Click Allow to continue.

4. Choose the erasure algorithm.

Select the algorithm based on your preference for data security and privacy:

• Zeroes (1 Pass)

• Pseudo-random (2 Passes)

• US DoD 5200.22-M (3 Passes)

5. Click Erase button.

6. A dialog box opens to confirm if you want to delete the complete data. Click Yes to erase the device.

7. The app starts erasing data from the Android device. A progress screen shows the status of the erasure.

8. After complete data erasure, the device reboots.
