Stellar Android Eraser
Stellar Android Eraser
In today's digital world, Android phones have become an integral part of our lives, with almost every third person owning one. People use them not only for communication but also to store a lot of personal data, such as photos, videos, files, and downloads. As the volume of data grows, the need for privacy and security also increases. Some of your files may contain sensitive data like passwords you don't want others to access. In that case, security becomes of utmost importance.
Reselling or disposing of old Android devices often puts data privacy at risk. It is a common belief that performing a factory reset deletes the data permanently from the devices leaving no scope for recovery. However, this is not the case.
A factory reset removes references to the data, so the operating system no longer recognizes it. However, the device holds the actual data until you overwrite it. Because of this, a factory reset doesn’t permanently erase the data.
This remaining data can make Android devices vulnerable to cyber-attacks and privacy breaches.
Stellar Android Eraser helps you erase data and free space on Android devices. It uses advanced algorithms like Zeroes, Pseudo-Random, and US DOD 5200 22-M to overwrite existing data multiple times, ensuring that it destroys the data and makes recovery impossible. Thus, this application safeguards sensitive information against unauthorized access.
User-Friendly Interface: Simple and easy-to-use application for erasing Android devices.
Permanent Data Erasure: Securely and permanently erase sensitive data and free space with ease from Android devices.
Multiple Erasure Algorithms: Uses three world-class erasure algorithms:
Zeroes - This algorithm erases data by overwriting it with zeroes in a single pass. This is the fastest algorithm available to a user.
Pseudo-Random (2 passes) - This algorithm erases data by overwriting the device in two passes. In the first pass, it overwrites data with randomly generated numbers; in the second pass, it overwrites the previously generated data with zeros.
US DOD 5200 22-M - This algorithm erases data by overwriting the hard drive in three passes. In first pass, it overwrites the data with zeros, then in second pass, it overwrites the data with ones and finally in the third pass overwrites the data with randomly generated bytes. This is a U.S. Department of Defense algorithm.
Automatic Erasure of Devices: Supports automatic erasing of the device with a single click.
Data Erasure: Erases data from the device by manually selecting the files from the file explorer.
Support for all Android Versions: Compatible with various Android versions 5.0 and above 5.0
Security and Privacy: Ensures security and privacy of devices while cleaning the data.
