3.6. Updating the Software

You can use the update feature of SpeedUp Mac to check and install the latest updates for the software. This will help you to keep your software up-to-date. When you run SpeedUp Mac, the update wizard pops up a message, if updates are available for the software. Otherwise, click Preferences from the menu bar and click the Software Update link from General tab to update the software.  

 

To update SpeedUp Mac, do one of the following:

Automatic Update:

  1. Run SpeedUp Mac.
  2. If an update is available, the Update window is displayed along with the main user interface.
  3. To download the latest version, click Update button. It may take a few seconds or minutes to download the files. Once completed, 'Update successfully installed' message appears.
  4. Click OK.

Manual Update:

  1. Run SpeedUp Mac.
  2. On the menu bar, click Preferences.
  3. Click the Software Update link from General tab.
  4. If updates are available, an Update window is displayed. Follow the next step. Else, if no updates are available, 'No updates are available' message appears.
  5. Click Update to download the latest version. It may take few seconds to minutes to download the files. After completion, 'Update successfully installed' message appears.
  6. Click OK.
