4.5.2. Folder Search

Folders that will be scanned during the scanning process can be specified in the application. This reduces the time required in the search operation. SpeedUp Mac provides Folder Search preferences to specify the folders that will be scanned to find language resources files. You can specify different folders for the scanning process.

To apply Folder Search preferences:

1. Run SpeedUp Mac.

2. Click Preferences from the menu bar.

3. On the left pane, there are seven tabs available. Click the Folder Search tab to specify the folders.

4. There are two tabs to specify folders to search for language resources of Apps: Boot Partition and Non-Boot Partition.

a) Boot Partition tab

• Click Add button to select the folder to search for language resources of Apps.
• If you want to remove the selected folders, click Remove button.

 b) Non-Boot Partition tab

• Click Add button to select the folder to search for language resources of Apps.
• If you want to remove the selected folders, click Remove button.  

Note: In Boot Partition if no folder is specified then only the default folder will be scanned. While in the Non-Boot Partition the complete drive will be scanned.

5. Click the OK button to save your preferences.

Note: To revert the Preferences to last saved, click on the Reset button.
