3.6. Updating the Software

You can use the update feature of Stellar Data Recovery to check and install the latest updates. This will help keep the software up-to-date. When you run Stellar Data Recovery, update wizard pops up a message, if updates are available for the software. Otherwise, select Check for Updates option under Preferences -> Update in the toolbar.

Steps to Check Updates Automatically:

1. Run Stellar Data Recovery, Update window is displayed along with the main user interface.

2. To download the latest version, click Update button. It may take a few seconds to minutes to download the files. After completion, ‘Update successfully installed‘ message appears.

3. Click OK.
