BitRaser File Eraser
Before installing the software, check that your system meets the minimum system requirements:
Processor: Intel-compatible (x86, x64)
Operating System: Windows 11 / Windows 10 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows Server 2019 / Windows Server 2016 / Windows Server 2012 / Windows Server 2008 / Windows Server 2003
Note: If you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8, make sure that your Windows is up to date with the latest Microsoft Windows updates.
Memory: 8 GB (recommended) 4 GB (minimum)
Hard Disk: 250 MB for installation files
Note: For connecting to the BitRaser Cloud, you need an active internet connection.
Double-click BitRaserFileEraser.exe executable file to start the installation. 'Setup - BitRaser File Eraser' dialog box is displayed.
Click Next. 'License Agreement' dialog box is displayed.
Choose I accept the agreement option. 'Next' button will be enabled. Click Next. 'Select Destination Location' dialog box is displayed.
Click Browse to select the destination path where the setup files will be stored. Click Next. 'Select Additional Tasks' dialog box is displayed.
Choose the checkboxes as per your choice. Click Next. 'Download MariaDB' dialog box appears to download and install MariaDB on your system.
Enter a Root Password and confirm the password by re-entering it. This password will be set as default for the database created in MariaDB. Click Next.
Note: Use Skip option in case MariaDB is already installed on your system.
'Preparing to Install' dialog box is displayed. The Installing screen shows the installation process.
After completing the process, 'Completing the BitRaser File Eraser Setup Wizard' window is displayed. Click Finish.
Note: Clear Launch BitRaser File Eraser checkbox before clicking Finish to prevent the software from launching.
