3.1. Installation BitRaser File Eraser

Before installing the software, make sure that your system meets the following requirements.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Processor : Intel compatible (x86, x64)

  • Operating System : macOS X 10.13 onwards.

  • Memory : 8 GB (recommended) 4 GB (minimum)

  • Hard Disk : 250 MB of free space.

 

To install the BitRaser File Eraser, follow the steps below:

  1. Unzip the BitRaserFileEraser.dmg.zip file.

  2. Double-click the dmg file. This will mount a virtual volume BitRaser File Eraser.

  3. Drag the BitRaser File Eraser application from the mounted virtual volume to the Applications folder.

  4. To launch the software, double-click on BitRaser File Eraser in the Applications folder.

  5. Accept the License Agreement and then the main window of BitRaser File Eraser software is displayed.

Note: To remove the software, drag and drop BitRaser File Eraser file from Applications folder to trash.
