In such a case, you can use the Inbox Repair Utility (Scanpst) in MS Outlook to repair the corrupt PST file. The default location of the Scanpst.exe is:

      C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office1X

After locating this utility, follow the below steps:

      • Double-click on Scanpst.exe to open.
      • Choose the PST file in your system. The tool will scan the file for errors.
      • If the errors get displayed, click Repair to fix them.
