We have here a 13 Mb file, which obviously cannot be repaired.
After we have selected the file, a loading bar appears in the lower left window, indicating progress and starting again from the beginning. Several times a second. Is that right? We’ve been waiting for 15 minutes now.

Here if the bar is not moving it means the file structure is severely damaged and further repair is not possible. My corrupted excel file is 1296KB and have a lot of sheet at the bottom, however when I repair it, its only shown 501KB and its on preview screen.
