      1. Our client runs Quickbooks Enterprise 2018 and is having an issue when trying to open a second company from the ‘File’ drop-down menu within the app.

When I click ‘Open the second company’, I get an error message that indicates they do not have the correct product in order to use the feature:
Quickbooks already has a company file open. If you want to open another company file, close this one first. Only Quickbooks Accountant and Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions can open two company files at once.
Not sure why they’re receiving this when they are in fact using Enterprise Solutions edition. Quickbooks is currently running in multi-user mode.
Is there anything I should check, or does anything special need to be done in order to use this feature?
