        2. Configure QuickBooks Database Manager:
          1. Go to Start -> Programs -> QuickBooks -> QuickBooks Database Server Manager
          2. Click on the ‘Add Folder’ button
          3. Find the folder containing your QuickBooks company file and click ‘OK’
          4. Click on ‘Scan’ and when it completes, click on ‘Close’
      1. Go to ‘Set up folder permissions’ to share company files web page and verify that the company file access permissions are set up correctly
      2. If QuickBooks application is installed on the server, perform the following steps:
        1. Turn off hosting and then turn it back on
        2. Open the company file through local path
        3. Create a new folder
      3. Open the file on the computer where the error message was displayed.
