Using Stellar Photo Recovery for Mac, you can easily recover your photos from a formatted USB drive. Just follow these simple steps.

  • Connect your USB to the Mac system.
  • Download, install, and run Stellar Photo Recovery for Mac.
  • On the software's home screen, select the type of media files - photos, videos, or audio files.
  • Select the USB drive from the list of drives and external media.
  • Click ‘Scan’. The scan list will be created while the scan runs.

  • Image creation process will begin; once completed, you can see the newly created image.

To recover pictures from the Image file, perform the below steps:

  • On the home screen of Stellar Photo Recovery, select ‘Recover from Image’ option at the side panel.
  • Choose the disk image from which you want to recover photos and click ‘Scan’ to start the recovery.
  • Once the scanning completes, you can see the list of file and folder.
  • Choose the desired picture and click ‘Recover’.
  • Click ‘Browse’ to select the desired location to save the recovered files. Click ‘Save’.

To recover photos from saved scan information on Mac, follow the below steps:

  • On the home screen, select the ‘Resume Recovery’ icon. A Resume Recovery window opens. All the saved scan information files are listed.
  • Select the desired saved scan file you want to resume for recovery. Click the ‘Resume’ button
  • Once the scanning completes, click ‘Recover’ to choose the desired image you want.
